with English / Detachable Collar 3 Design Set
This pattern includes three different designs of detachable collars.
Oversized collars are popular and we see many different variations.
It may already be your favourite piece or you may be wondering how it will look on you and not given it a try.
Well, we made this "Detachable Collar 3 Design Set" for everyone who would like to enjoy this world-wide big collar trend,
and for those who would like to explore different collar styles.
Layer the collar on a blouse or shirt, wear with a cardigan or a sweater.
The three designs can be enjoyed as it comes or arranged.
For example, you could make one Collar C and a smaller C to layer the two (seen in picture of white shirt)
or you could remove the ruffle from Collar B. You could adjust the collar to fit the neckline of your top.
We have made samples in a silk lawn. Use fabric for blouse weight.
Collar A ... Single layer with tucks in the back and front.
Collar B ... Single layer with ruffles.
Collar C ... Double layer with sharp line.
The pattern is designed to be worn with a ribbon tie at the front.
To fix the collar to your blouse or shirt you will need buttons and loops
on the collar and blouse, but instructions are not included.
You may wish to pin or use other means to hold it in place.
