Long trench coat
Couleure's 745 Long Trench coat is a truly rewarding piece to sew. It has a double back-yoke, raglan sleeve for the back side, and a set-in sleeve for the front side, just as a traditional trench coat will. It may look difficult, but if you carefully put each piece together, you will find it not as tricky as you may think. A classical trench coat will often have a sleeve belt and a belt ring. As the right materials are not easily available, we have chosen a simpler sleeve opening design. The shoulder have beautiful epaulets.
The most difficult part may be the welt pocket. You could change this to a seam pocket if you prefer. (The instructions are not included, however, a seam pocket can be placed in your preferred position by using a pattern and instruction of your choice.)
★You can make this coat without lining, but you can fully line the coat by buying the lining pattern & instructions.
