bramley apple pudding

ブラムリーりんごのプディング

Apples are abundant this year.
At a friend's house, neighbors gather to make cider from apples for a festival, and at school, apples are squeezed.

I got some Bramley apples for cooking, so I baked them for Saturday breakfast.
The recipe said it was Bramley pudding, but my mother said it looked like a traditional Eve pudding.

Cut 800g of apples into 2cm cubes, add cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice,
Stir-fry with 75g of mixed raisins and lemon peel in 1 tablespoon of butter.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix 180g of butter and 180g of sugar (for sour apples) until fluffy, then add 1/2 lemon zest and 3 eggs.
Mix 160g of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 5 tablespoons of water/milk.

Place the apples in a heat-resistant dish and pour the cake batter over the top.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes and it's done.
*I covered it with aluminum foil on the way, so it took 40 minutes,
Check to see if it's cooked all the way through.

Ice cream, custard, whipped cream... they all go well together. (K)

It is sometimes called Eve pudding.
